Team Rocket always fails to catch Pikachu, but they're yet to give up. Many believe that Jessie and James are going to
hook up at the end of the anime - as they're married later in the manga - but the focus is so off of Team Rocket I doubt they'd
even mention it. The rocketshippers* would go cookoo though, wouldn't they?
